Taste: Caramel, Rustic, Toasty
A true American West Coast original. Full-bodied but very drinkable, this beer has a number of unique qualities that come together in a delicious way. A variety of caramel malts bring complex, toasty flavors which create a stable base to support the heavy dosing of German Northern Brewer hops in the boil. These hops contribute a unique minty, woody flavor. The wort is then fermented into beer with a clean lager yeast, but at ale temperatures.
