Also known as Hazy or Juicy IPA, this sub-style of India Pale Ale tends to focus more on hop flavor, aroma, and mouthfeel, and less on bitterness and appearance. Our interpretation includes oats, wheat, and barley in the grain bill and is hopped heavily in the boil kettle with Kohatu and Amarillo hops, then transferred through a hop-back full of whole cone Mosaic hops on the way to the fermenation tank. After fermenting with a yeast from a famed Vermont NE IPA brewery, we dry hopped this beauty – twice. First with Cryo Amarillo, Citra, and Mosaic hops, then with whole cone Mosaic and Citra hops.
