Locally-made birch beer steins are given to the top 3 male and female finishers.

HYDRATION STOPS: Pplan on stops every 2-3miles with water and Gatorade Endurance…and BEER at the end!

MEDICAL SUPPORT: We have been working with the city of Fairbanks on planning. They are aware of the race and on-call if needed. Volunteers will be on the course to assist.

RACE RESULTS: A race chip will be attached to each person’s bib. Please do not remove the timing chip. Please ensure that your bib is clearly visible on the front of your race apparel. It serves as a backup in the event that your timing chip does not function properly (this is not anticipated, but happens sometimes).

WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO? Your registration fees also go toward providing a quality half-marathon race experience. We are paying professionals to provide real-time and accurate timing, which includes set up, bib printing and chip timing. Insurance, city permits, registration services, and participant swag is covered, too. HooDoo Brewing Co. is not taking any profits from registration fees. Any money left over will be put into a set-aside account for next year to build upon. We want this to be a high-quality and safe yearly event for Fairbanks that is fun for all.
