HooDoo Best Bitter is brewed in the traditional spirit of the style, with a pale malt backbone supported by select specialty malts that bring soft biscuit, bread crust, and gentle caramel notes. The malt profile is expressive yet restrained, setting the stage for balance rather than sweetness. We hopped this beauty with classic European varieties—Fuggles, Northern Brewer, and Tettnang—layered throughout the boil to provide smooth, earthy bitterness and delicate herbal and floral aromatics. Fermented with a clean English Ale yeast, it finishes with subtle esters and a rounded, pub-friendly mouthfeel.
