Taste: Smoke, Toast, Malty

As an homage to one of the brewmaster’s favorite beers, we bring you this delicious smoked lager or, Rauchbier. As with all of our German-style beers, the entire grain bill is brought to Fairbanks from Weyermann Malting in Bamburg, Germany. One third of the malted barley, called “rauchmalt” is kilned over an open beechwood smoke fire, lending a smooth, sweet, smokey character to this clean, drinkable lager.

ABV: 4.9% // IBU: 45 // OG: 11.1

Available to enjoy in the Biergarten, or to go in 5-gallon kegs, growlers, and 4-packs of 16oz cans.
